也不知是否探望母親時在醫院感染了感冒，總之便是病了。誰也知道病不是一種好的感受，特別是病也不能休息那種感覺。小時候每年也會大病一兩場；每次都是喉嚨發炎及發高燒。考大學入學試時便是因為病了而改變了我一生命運，頗有點塞翁失馬的感覺。記得有一次到倫敦辦案，一個人在異鄉之地病了還要日以繼夜的趕寫法律文件，真是悽涼得要命！
有人說小病是福，但當立法會議員的我卻似乎是無福消受！

I felt sick at matriculation exam and failed in History. As a result, I could not get into any department in HKU. It so happened the Law Department had just been set up and they were short of candidates. I applied and got accepted even though I was not really qualified. The rest is history...
oic. maybe you were born to be a lawyer. :)
Or maybe that's Hon. Tong's fate and directed him to be a barrister and legislator later !!
