哈！政治真是神奇！小布殊被人掟鞋成為全球新聞，大快人心之餘卻又反而為他挽回一些面子。首先，有人大囋他訓練有素，身手敏捷；但更重要的，是他有「大將之風」，一句輕鬆笑語「這是十號鞋！」化解了一場對他來說是極度尷尬的鬧劇；而那邊廂，扔鞋者雖然要受皮肉之苦，但亦即時成為人民英雄，也算是值得。唯一輸家反而是伊拉克總統，那目瞪口呆，不知所措的表情，和曾特首目睹扔蕉的表現，不相佰仲，突顯了那應對能力不足之處。故事教訓我們，從政必須有忍受的能耐和幽默感，才能化險為夷。唔…這是五花蕉，多謝！

That's American culture, politics and training! The Americans' humour and senses are developed different than many other countries', by no means they are better, but many political crisis can always be turned into just a joke. Why not, political talent indeed!
Well, I am not sure this is US monopoly. Patten when he was in HK was able to give wisecracks on banana throwing we well.
