曾特首設宴款待立法會議員，在席上竟然聲稱不談正務只講笑話。他更毫不諱忌的說：「我已習慣了出台政策要收回的感覺。」此語一出，引來哄堂大笑。我卻一點兒也笑不出。
政府要不時收回政策是代表着什麽？這代表着：一、政府不能掌握民情、不能想市民所想、與社會脫節；二、政府的政策只是對某階層有利，卻漠視另一階層的利益；三、政府缺乏認受性或社會的支持。留意我是說缺乏社會，而非議會的支持。這是因為我們的議會本身非普選產生，亦缺乏認受性。單單依賴保皇黨的盲目支持是不足夠的；四、政府因缺乏認受性而對激進行為特別敏感，害怕事情「搞大了」只會引來更大的反嚮、更大的不穩定。政府一次被激進行為「嚇怕了」，便會開始了一個你進我退的惡性循環，導至政府管治威信盡失，步向民粹。
曾特首不就此反思求變，反而以此作為說笑解悶的材料，真是令人哭笑不能！

They just don't give a damn on how we feel and how our lives are because no matter what they do, good or bad, they get their appreciable salary every month.
The Thai people could at least protest until the government steps down, but in HK, no matter how many times we have protested, the situation remains...
I wonder how our next generation can survive after 2047, after the effect of the Basic Law. I am afraid the situation will be even worse...
that is precisely why we must strife for true democracy before that time comes! Not to do anything is to admit defeat!
