有朋友在這裡留言，問有民主派中人把今次選舉看成是泛民與非泛民就普選問題的決戰，若今次選舉，建制派由谷底反彈，”非民主”勢力回到1999年的狀況，那麼，就是”非民主”勢力透過民主方式（直接選舉）回朝了。這是否很矛盾？
不見得這有什麼矛盾。區選是最基層的民主選舉。若建制派今次選舉大勝，這是選民的抉擇，也是體現民主的成果。為什麼我們要假想，明天若有普選，必然是民主派的天下？這想法太自大了！
民主最基本的特色就是政權透過一人一票的選舉得以替換。今天若落敗，衹會令我們決心明天更努力、為來屆做好準備。只要盡了力，對得起選民，對得起自己，勝敗乃兵家常事。

Thank you for all your support. I was very depressed for the last 2 days but I am over it now. I did think of resigning but then I thought its not my style to admit defeat. I am going to set up a new office in NTE to double my effort. I need all of your support in whichever way.
